The following are grants awarded recently to CFK. Each grant makes possible important programs that are needed to enhance the impact we are making in our mission. CancerFree KIDS is very grateful for the generosity of these foundations!
Greater Cincinnati Foundation - $11,735 for the purchase of much needed development software for the CFK Office. The Elizabeth B. Lips Memorial Fund and the Selma Rabkin Schneck Family Fund were the sources of the grant.
The Lois and Melba Schott Foundation – Fifth Third Bank Trustee - $20,000 for the establishment and development of a CFK Affiliate program. The purpose of the Affiliate program is to engage the support of families who have lost children to cancer, and who wish to support the mission of CancerFree Kids by hosting their own event in memory of their child.
The Wohlgemuth Herschede Foundation – Fifth Third Bank Trustee - $5000 to be used specifically for pediatric cancer research. Allocation of this money will be made at the recommendation of the CFK Grant Selection Committee.
Thank you!
CancerFree KIDS extends its thanks to Modern Office Methods for their generous gift of a new copier for the CFK office!
