The 1st Annual Butterfly Walk benefiting CancerFree Kids took place on Saturday, May 12, 2007 and was a HUGE success! We exceeded our goals with over 600 walkers participating and we raised over $26,000!!!! This event was a celebration of the lives of all children who have battled cancer - the ones who survived and the ones who didn't.

The Sabine's Cup Golf Outing on June 25th was a sold out event, surpassing everyone's expectations of this first-year event! The event, as a whole, raised more than $12,000 for CancerFree Kids.  The participants, through their own fundraising efforts, brought in $4,000 of that total.

Way to go, golfers!  A big, heartfelt thank you to Karen Rubenstein for spear-heading the event and to all the kids who helped to make the event a great success.
