About
Sabine's Cup is the only golf outing organized, managed and played by Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky kids (with a bit of help from family and friends). Premiering in 2007, the tournament is named for Sabine Friedrichsmeyer, a vibrant young sports enthusiast from Cincinnati who died at age 25 of leukemia. Sabine was an avid equestrian, a gifted soccer and basketball player, and much more. This fundraising event memorializes her boundless energy, her passion for play, and her love of children.

"Sabine devoted herself to whatever she took on," remembers her sister, Karen Rubenstein, "whether that was street kickball as a kid or founding a successful business at age 23. Even cancer treatment didn't stop her from riding horses. It's this spirit we want to celebrate and share with the kids who play in Sabine's Cup."
