Special Committees for our Annual Signature Event
While we already have an Event Committee in place for our "Dinner with a Spin" event in October, we still need special subcommittees to work on specific areas such as raffle, decorations, etc.

Memorials
Several people have chosen to make donations "in memory" of a child; or a grandparent who dies asks for donations to go to CFK "in honor" of their grandchild who is a survivor. We'd like help from one or more volunteers to develop informational materials and contact funeral homes to get the word out about CFK.

Advertising Campaign
Our dream is to have a full-blown advertising campaign to promote our cause and raise awareness.  Can you help? 

 

Our Different Fundraisers

"Kids for CancerFree Kids" Fundraisers
Kids love helping other kids. That's why we think that kids would love to have some fundraising ideas that they can do on their own. We already have some great kids doing their own thing and we'd like to develop a Kid's Page on our website with ideas for kids who want to help! 

College-based Fundraisers
College organizations, particularly fraternities and sororities, do a lot of fundraising and philanthropic projects. We are seeking one or more volunteers to develop some fun ideas that college kids could do to raise money for CFK, like bowling or putt-putt golf tournaments.

"Party with a Spin..."
Do you have a talent for planning parties? Hosting parties? Or do you just like going to parties? Then you'll love the idea behind our "Party With A Spin!"  This is where people host a dinner, birthday or any party in their own home and invite friends who are asked to make a donation to CancerFree Kids. We supply a "party box" full of pinwheel invitations, party goods, ideas, lapel pins, etc.

We'd like one or more people to act as our "party promoters," which would include recruiting and working with people who want to participate. 

Any other ideas you may have that would help us raise awareness, friends or funds! In addition, we can always use volunteers for small projects, such as helping us at our jewelry sales for a couple of hours, helping with mailings, etc. Please let us know if you would like to help in any way!
