Each year at the CancerFree KIDS' Butterfly Walk, families, friends and co-workers form teams to celebrate survivors, remember those for whom a cure did not come soon enough and raise money in support of our kids and our mission to end childhood cancer.

Registration for the 2026 Butterfly Walk is officially open! ​
This year marks two decades of the Butterfly Walk, originally founded by the Paribello family in memory of their daughter, Hanna. Now, 20 years later, we continue to come together to honor and remember all kids who have faced childhood cancer.
Join us for a day of fun and inspiration for the whole family, featuring our Champion Ceremony and Inspirational Walk followed by breakfast, games, face painting, animal encounters, and all the excitement the Cincinnati Zoo has to offer!

The 2024 Butterfly Walk raised over $94,815!
Funds raised from the Butterfly Walk went towards the Wilson Family Research Grant for Bhavana Kushwaha, PhD toward her research in enhancing immunotherapy effectiveness in high-risk neuroblastoma through genetic and metabolic approaches
